Les Dames d’Escoffier Sonoma Chapter Micro-Grant Program
Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI) is a distinguished organization dedicated to advancing and supporting women in the fields of food, fine-beverage and hospitality. Established in 2020, the Sonoma Chapter (LDEISC) continues this legacy in the greater regions of Marin, Mendocino, Napa and Sonoma. Our mission is to inspire, support, and promote female leaders, entrepreneurs, students and contributors within these industries.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Les Dames d'Escoffier Sonoma supports women making significant strides in their professional journeys. Our micro-grant program is for women leaders, students, entrepreneurs and other contributors in food, fine beverage and hospitality. It provides funding to bridge a gap, launch a project or support an educational goal.
This cycle we will award up to three $1,500 micro-grants. Each recipient also receives dedicated mentorship opportunities with members of the LDEI Sonoma Chapter.
Last cycle we funded a culinary entrepreneur launching her home kitchen, the founder of a microbakery and a farmer and food cooperative co-founder - learn about them here.

KEY DATES
Application Period: Open now! Submissions will be accepted through December 1, 2026.
Award Period: Grant recipients will be notified in January 2027 with a recognition celebration in the Spring.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Applicants must be women who have a minimum of one (1) year as a student in our related industries of culinary, fine beverage or hospitality, are in the process of growing their culinary, fine-beverage or hospitality experience, or are aiming to achieve their next career milestone.
Applicants must demonstrate how the grant will support their professional development or business growth, and the impact of their work/service in the LDEI Sonoma Chapter service area.
Applications are available to women in the state of California who demonstrate their work/service impact within the LDEI Sonoma Chapter service area (Marin, Mendocino, Napa, and Sonoma counties).
LDEI Sonoma Chapter Micro Grant program is not available to current LDEI members.
Past applicants are encouraged to reapply annually; Winners can reapply every 2 years.

Future Goals
LDEISC aims to evaluate annually and incrementally increase both the award amounts and the number of awardees. Our goal is to expand the reach and impact of our support, fostering a robust network of empowered women within our community.
