Dame Melissa Alexander founded Sanglier Cellars in 2006 with her husband. She serves as culinary director and has planned and executed numerous wine club parties, wine dinners and tasting events over the years. An avid gardener she grows heirloom vegetables on a half-acre plot at her home.
She also volunteers her time at Spring Hills Church and Christian Academy teaching cooking classes to students and leading the culinary team that serves a monthly gathering of 200 women. Melissa collects copper cookware and maintains a cookbook library consisting of about 2000 cookbooks.
